Introducing Strength in Numbers
Strength in Numbers is a nonprofit serving the community by aiding support to schools, and school aged adolescents that are dealing with the complex issues surrounding bullying.
About Strength in Numbers
Our Mission
We strive to demonstrate kindness, understanding, and a positive resolution. Strength in Numbers is a part of the healing change that is helping an individual overcome being unfairly treated or bullied. Alongside focusing on the root causes of the perpetrators motivations and intentions. Innocent young adults do not deserve to be the on the receiving end of another’s rude cruelty. Through accountability and compassion they will have the opportunity to work with a psychologist to find alleviation for their unconscious, aggressive, inappropriate and unproductive behavior.
Our Team
Our team is made up of individuals from all diverse backgrounds. They could have been the receiver of bullying when they were younger, know someone who was affected, or are compelled to see young adolescents get help that are struggling - on both sides of the story.
Our Plan
The main segments to be addressed is the one who cannot properly regulate emotion or impulses the “Bully”, then there is the one innocent negatively affected receiving individual of the bullies actions, and lastly the “ambassador” or the “Role Model” students are rewarded and celebrated because they make healthy choices and help demonstrate good values, by them being the best version of themselves. Giving others the opportunity to reflect upon maybe why they are not achieving that within their own life.
